Ephesians 3:4-6, 4:1-16. There are pictures that scripture use to describe Jesus' church. The body is a picture of not just an idea but something “in the flesh.” The picture of a church being a body isn’t just talk. It’s an invitation to put clothes on ideology and make intentions real and touchable. Jesus the Son of God took upon himself a human body and the human beings in the church take on His spiritual body to reveal His reality and power.
