The Makeover

There are pictures that scripture use to describe Jesus church. One of the biggest criticisms of church is that it’s full of hypocrites and fake people… and that’s true. They’re saying that the church is to ugly for them to want to be a part. The amazing thing about church is not that the people aren’t messed up and dirty but that in the midst of all that God is cleaning and transforming them. Sometime it happens dramatically and immediate and sometimes slower and patiently. A local church is where we get to see that God can make anything ugly beautiful and anything broken work better than it ever did.
