Mark 1:1-11
The Book of Mark starts with Jesus making a mysterious and seemingly grand entrance. We’ve got ancient prophecies, a charismatic and engaging leader, a strange event of people being dunked in a river, and as if that isn’t enough, a voice from heaven and God in the appearance of a dove resting on Jesus. We’ve heard the story but I think we’ve glazed over what is actually happening here. You and I are being invited into asking some really critical questions. Lets do that.
