How The King Made Peace

Peace on earth and good will towards men… Peace on earth… Repeatedly God’s prophets promised that He was sending one who would bring peace. He didn’t just promise peace to Israel but one who would bring peace to the entire world. Many kings have promised to make peace and defend peace. In fact the Israelites were groaning under the weight of the theme of Rome, which was “Pax Romana” Roman Peace. Can any king really deliver a peace that has no end in space or time?
