Why is the World Against Me?

Powerlessness: "Sometimes you're the bug and sometimes you're the windshield". I'm not actually sure who said that but it seems to describe day to day life for most of us. But have you ever had what seems like a whole season of being the bug? Some people seem to have had an entire life of that. Just can't seem to catch a break or always at the wrong place at the wrong time. What does God have to say to us in those days and seasons? Will His power be enough to overcome our seeming powerlessness against life?
